Lumbani Mwita is currently serving as the Family Planning Coordinator at Ntcheu District Council since July 2024. With a long-standing career in healthcare, Lumbani has held the position of Nursing and Midwifery Officer at the Ministry of Health Malawi since January 2012, demonstrating expertise in patient care, as well as coordination of antenatal and family planning services. Prior roles include Nurse Midwife Technician, providing nursing and midwifery care in pediatric and labor wards. Lumbani holds a Master's degree in Global Health Implementation Science from Kamuzu University of Health Sciences, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Midwifery from the University of Malawi, and a Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery from the University of Livingstonia. Additionally, education has been further enhanced through a program at the University of Washington in 2023.
