Muath Alkhalaf currently serves as the Chief Data and Analytics Officer at the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing since May 2023. With a tenure at King Saud University as an Assistant Professor beginning in September 2014, Muath has extensive academic experience. Previously, Muath held the position of Global Director of B2B and Partnerships at Noon - The Social Learning Platform from December 2020 to May 2023, and served as a Consultant and GM for Saudi & GCC at The Saudi Federation for Cyber Security and Programming (SAFCSP) from March 2018 to March 2021. Muath also acted as the General Manager for the Center for Decision Support and AI at the Ministry of Finance from November 2019 to November 2020, where the center was established under Muath's leadership. Earlier professional experience includes leading the Balady Initiative at the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs from November 2015 to February 2018. Muath holds a PhD in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara and completed a program at Stanford University in 2021.
