Tomáš Holinka

Tomáš Holinka serves as the Head of the S3 Strategy Unit and Head of the Economic Analysis Unit at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic since July 2018. Prior to this role, Tomáš worked at Moody's Analytics as an Economist from February 2011 to February 2018, focusing on forecasting and analyzing developments in the euro zone, Italy, and the Czech Republic. Additional experience includes positions at the European Central Bank as a member of the Monitoring Working Group, analyzing domestic financial markets, and co-authoring reports such as the Pricing euro adoption report. Tomáš's earlier roles include Head of Market Analyses Unit at the Czech National Bank and various analyst positions in the financial media and investment sectors. Tomáš holds a PhD in Monetary Policy and Financial Economics and an MA in Economics from the Prague University of Economics and Business, along with undergraduate education in Telecommunications Technology.
