Major General Dr. Ahmed Naser al-Raisi

Major General Dr. Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi serves as the President of INTERPOL since 2018 and is an Executive Committee Delegate of Asia. In parallel, Dr. Al-Raisi holds the position of Inspector General and Director General of Digital Services Transformation and Communications at the Ministry of Interior in Abu Dhabi since 2012. Previously, Dr. Al-Raisi had an extensive career at Abu Dhabi Police from 1986 to 2012, where roles included Director General of Central Operations, Director of Information Technology and Communications, Head of Information Technology - Telecommunications and Information Systems Department, and Head of Forensic Science Institute. Dr. Al-Raisi’s academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Policing, Security, and Community Safety from London Metropolitan University, a Master of Business Administration in Innovation Management from Coventry University, a Diploma in Police Management from the University of Cambridge, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Otterbein University.
