Sara Lerota

Sara Lerota has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sara began their career at Art on Call® as a Marketing Administrator from an unspecified start date until 2013. Sara then worked at Bershka as a Sales Assistant from December 2013 to July 2014, and later as a Responsible (Management) from July 2014 to July 2015.

In 2016, they joined SPARK where they held multiple positions, including Project Manager & Startup Coach from April 2016 to July 2018, Partnerships & Startup Development from January 2018 to May 2019, Startup Europe Ambassador from February 2018 to May 2019, Startup Program (Accelerator) Manager from July 2018 to May 2019, and SE Western Balkans Network representative in B&H from November 2018 to May 2019.

From May 2019 to January 2021, Sara worked as a Strategic Partnerships Executive at the MarketMakers Project. In 2021, they joined the Ministry of Programming as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships.

Looking ahead, Sara Lerota is set to become an Advisory Board Member at Thermy from April 2023 and a Strategic Board Member at ABSL Bosnia and Herzegovina from February 2023.

Sara Lerota's education history is as follows:

- In 2020, they completed the Content Moderation in the Digital Age program at The Aspen Institute Socrates Program.

- In the same year, they also received training in Market system development (MSD) by Helvetas through the Helvetas - MarketMakers program.

- From 2012 to 2013, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Economics, with a focus on Finance and Accounting, at Sveučilište u Mostaru - University of Mostar.

- From 2008 to 2012, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics, specializing in Finance and Accounting, from Sveučilište u Mostaru - University of Mostar.

- In 2014, they completed a professional development program, the Business Academy, at Imperial T. Business Academy in Sarajevo, B&H.

- In 2015, they underwent management training at Inditex - Bershka in Zagreb, Croatia.

Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including the Supernovas Business Angels Academy from EIT Manufacturing, the PSEA certificate from UNICEF, the Certificate of Training in Responsible Research and Innovation from The Center for the Promotion of Science, the SPARK school - project management certificate from SPARK business park, and the TCC certificate from IT BH Business Academy in Sarajevo, B&H.
