Azzan al Busaidi

Azzan Al Busaidi serves as the Undersecretary of Tourism at the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism in the Sultanate of Oman since March 2022. Previously, Azzan held the position of Board Member at Minerals Development Oman SAOC from April 2020 to March 2022 and at Oman Airports Management Company from December 2019 to January 2021. Azzan's extensive experience includes leading Ithraa as Chief Executive Officer and holding multiple roles, including Director General of Planning & Studies and Director of Planning from 2003 until September 2020. Azzan's academic achievements include an MBA from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Sultan Qaboos University, complemented by further studies at the University of Oxford.
