Ruqaya Alzamia

Ruqaya Alzamia currently serves as the Director of Strategic Partnership and Acting General Manager for Strategic Partnership and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services since September 2023. Ruqaya has an extensive background in diplomatic and strategic roles, including serving as the Head of Political & Media Section and Acting Charge d'Affaires at the Saudi Embassy in Iraq from August 2020 to September 2023. Contributions to the Confidential Government involved leading national strategies and implementing government-to-government agreements. Previous roles at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs included supporting bilateral relationships and managing international cooperation. As a UNA-NCA Graduate Fellow since 2016, Ruqaya gained valuable insights into international affairs through internships and seminars. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Affairs from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University.
