Chris Chambers

Chris Chambers is an accomplished geologist with extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as Principal Geologist at Liatam Mining Pty Ltd since January 2024. Previously, Chris held various roles at MINJAR GOLD PTY LTD from September 2016 to December 2023, including Exploration Manager for Queensland and Exploration Superintendent. Earlier positions include Senior Research Geologist and Project Geologist at Evolution Mining, and multiple roles at Newcrest Mining Limited, where Chris managed exploration teams and provided technical advice on epithermal deposits. Chris's career began at Newmont Mining Corporation and Normandy Mining Limited, where contributions included successful mineral discoveries and the implementation of innovative geological methodologies. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Geology from Flinders University, obtained in 1994.
