Kevin Kamin

Kevin Kamin currently serves as the Brand Manager at WCCO/CBS News Minnesota since July 2022 and has been an Adjunct Professor at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design since January 2023, teaching an Intro to Visual Effects course. Kamin operates as a Director, Writer, and Producer under the freelance brand Studio Gata, specializing in film and video projects, and possesses expertise as a Motion Graphics and Visual Effects Artist. Kamin's prior experience includes a significant role as Lead VFX Artist at Best Buy, where the establishment of the post-production and animation department was driven, as well as at the University of Minnesota as a Guest Lecturer. Kamin holds a BFA in Filmmaking and Photography from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Additionally, a previous career as a head sushi chef lasted 13 years, showcasing diverse skill sets and experiences.
