The board of directors at Minneapolis College of Art and Design has a history of experience in the art and design industry, as well as a variety of educational backgrounds. The board members have experience as owners, animation directors, partners, advisory board members, strategic advisory council members, dean's advisory board members, grant writers, and freelance writers. They have attended universities such as the University of Wisconsin-Stout, University of Virginia, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Wellesley College.
