Kris Fortman

Kris Fortman has a strong background in the healthcare industry, particularly in cardiovascular research and education. They served as the Chief Executive Officer at the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation (MHIF) from September 2015. In this role, Kris led a $60M organization, working with over 100 cardiologists to pursue cutting-edge research and expanding programming and partnerships. Before that, Kris worked as a Clinical Research Manager in Cardiac Rhythm Disease Management at Medtronic.

Kris began their career in 1997 as a Research Associate at HealthPartners Research Foundation, where they worked until 2005.
