Ross Garberich

Ross Garberich has extensive work experience in scientific services, biostatistics, and database management. Ross is currently the Vice President of Scientific Services at the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation, a role they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Scientific Services from September 2021 to April 2023, the Director of Scientific Services from February 2019 to September 2021, and the Manager of Scientific Services from January 2018 to February 2019.

Before joining the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation, Ross worked as a Senior Biostatistician from January 2015 to January 2018. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all biostatistics and database management, collaborating with physician investigators and industry sponsors, and managing clinical research databases.

Prior to their work in biostatistics, Ross held the position of Statistician and Database Coordinator from January 2010 to December 2014. During this time, they designed, implemented, and maintained multiple databases to support clinical research activities.

In addition to their scientific services experience, Ross has also worked in academia at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Ross served as a Graduate Instructor from January 2009 to December 2009 and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from January 2008 to December 2008.

Ross Garberich has a diverse educational background. In 2009, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics from the University of Minnesota Duluth. During the same period, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Economics from the same institution, which they completed in 2012. Prior to their master's degrees, from 2007 to 2009, Ross Garberich earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Actuarial Science and Statistics and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from the University of Minnesota Duluth as well.
