Stephanie Schmidt, RDCS (AE, PE), has extensive work experience in the field of cardiac sonography. Stephanie began their career in 2012 at Children's Wisconsin and Froedtert Community Memorial Hospital, where they served as a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer until 2015. Stephanie then worked at the Medical College of Wisconsin as a Research Cardiac Sonographer from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, Stephanie joined Children's Mercy Kansas City as a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer II, where they worked until 2016. Stephanie furthered their expertise by working as a Pediatric and Fetal Cardiac Sonographer at the University of Minnesota Medical Center from 2016 until 2023. Currently, Stephanie is an Advanced Cardiac Imaging Analyst at the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation, where they continue to contribute their knowledge and skills.

Stephanie Schmidt, RDCS (AE, PE), holds an Associate's degree in Echocardiography from Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences, which they completed from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Gustavus Adolphus College, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Stephanie has also attained the Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from ARDMS in the year 2010.
