Virajita Singh is currently serving as the Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer at the Minneapolis Institute of Art since March 2022. Prior to this role, Virajita held the position of Associate Vice Provost at the University of Minnesota Office for Equity and Diversity. With a background in architecture, Virajita has also worked as a Senior Research Fellow and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the College of Design, University of Minnesota. Throughout their career, Virajita has held various leadership roles in promoting diversity and inclusion within academic institutions.

Mia's permanent collection has grown from 800 works of art to almost 90,000 thousand objects.
