Laura Seter

Board Member at Minnesota Citizens for the Arts

Laura Seter started working at Region 2 Arts Council in January 2011. She became the executive director in 2015, bringing her love of artistic expression, community engagement, teaching, and the written word to her work. Laura holds a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont and a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. For many years she was a staff member at the Concordia Language Villages, holding positions from dishwasher to dean. In addition to having been a long time teacher at an independent school in Massachusetts, Laura has taught courses in Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communications, and Composition at Bemidji State University.
