Brittney Dennis, M.S., currently serves as the Diversity Equity Inclusion Specialist for the Second and Tenth Judicial Districts at Minnesota Judicial Branch, focusing on the development and implementation of DEI strategic planning and training programs. A Doctoral Candidate in Sociology at Florida State University from August 2014 to January 2023, Brittney engaged in research examining diversity and inclusion initiatives in higher education. Additional roles included professional speaking, leadership and identity education program design, and various teaching positions at Florida State University. Previous experience includes research roles at the University of Central Florida and an internship with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office. Brittney holds a PhD and an MS in Sociology from Florida State University, and a BA in Sociology from the University of Central Florida.
