Leah Hegg, MBA, is an experienced professional with a strong background in grant management and community development. Currently serving as Grant Manager Senior at the Minnesota Department of Health since June 2021, Leah previously held the role of Prevention and Grant Manager at Healthy Community Initiative, where leadership was provided to enhance health outcomes through collaboration with various stakeholders. From January 2008 to June 2020, Leah worked at the American Cancer Society, initially as Cancer Control - Mission Delivery Program Manager, overseeing cancer control programs across multiple states, and later as Community Relations Senior Manager, where strategic leadership resulted in the planning and execution of numerous events that raised nearly $3 million annually. Leah holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas and dual Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Management from Gustavus Adolphus College.
