Adam Wellner

Adam Wellner is an experienced Traffic Design Engineer at the Minnesota Department of Transportation, serving since July 2012, where responsibilities include project management for traffic-focused initiatives and design of traffic control systems, pavement markings, and traffic signals. Prior roles include Graduate Engineer with extensive project exposure across District 6 and statewide, Brewer/Bartender at Dempsey's Brewery, and Substitute Teacher within local school districts. Adam's academic background includes a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from South Dakota State University, complemented by research in GIS techniques for highway safety. Additional experience includes various engineering and technology positions in the City of Rochester and South Dakota State University.
