Kristoffer Langlie

District Water Resources Engineer (se Mn) at Minnesota Department of Transportation

Kristoffer Langlie, P.E. has extensive experience in water resources engineering, currently serving as the District Water Resources Engineer for the Minnesota Department of Transportation since July 2013. In this role, Langlie manages a team focused on designing and maintaining water resources assets for MnDOT infrastructure in District 6, while also researching strategies to mitigate climate change-related risks from extreme storms. Prior to this position, Langlie worked as a Civil/Water Resources Engineer at Liesch Associates, leading environmental stormwater and watershed management projects, and also contributed to the Engineers Without Borders - Minnesota Professionals as President. Langlie's early career included roles at Olsson Associates as a Student Engineer and at American Engineering Testing as a Construction Materials Technician. Langlie holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota.
