Chris Kakos, MBA, CPPM, currently serves as an Agency Planner and State Program Admin Manager Sr at the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs, leading strategic planning and project management for new veterans' homes and a cemetery since December 2021. Previously, Chris spent over 13 years with the Minnesota National Guard in various roles, including Human Resource Specialist, Personnel Chief, and Analyst, where responsibilities spanned from managing human resources systems to leading personnel support during domestic operations. Early career experiences include managerial roles at Best Buy and Ritz Camera & Image, along with combat deployment leadership as a Manager and Platoon Leader. Chris holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota and completed the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
