David Stevens

Site Manager at Minnesota Historical Society

David Stevens has a diverse work experience in various organizations. In 1995, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Jackson Community College. David then moved on to the University of Minnesota - College of Natural Resources in 1999, where they worked as a Researcher until 2001. During this time, they also had a brief role as a Researcher at the same university from June 1999 to August 1999. From 1996 to 2000, they worked as a Historic Site Guide at the Minnesota Historical Society, providing historic interpretation on public tours at different sites. After that, they transitioned to the role of Public Programs Specialist at the Minnesota Historical Society in November 2001 and eventually became the Site Manager in October 2017.

David Stevens completed their education history with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Minnesota from 1983 to 1988. David then pursued a Master of Arts degree in History from the University of Michigan between 1990 and 1993. Additionally, in 1987, David attended Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz for a period of one year, where they focused on German Language and Literature as well as Austrian History. Prior to their university education, they completed their high school education at Winona Senior High School from 1980 to 1983.
