Jennifer Cadwell-Vaughan

Teacher Education & Curriculum Development Program Manager (full-time) at Minnesota Historical Society

Jennifer Cadwell-Vaughan has a diverse work experience. Jennifer started their career in 1998 as a Social Studies Teacher at Roseville Area High School, where they also coached JV Girls Tennis and 10th Grade Girls Basketball teams. In 2002, they worked as a Graduate School Teaching Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Jennifer then worked as a Museum Interpreter at the Porter-Phelps-Huntington Historic House Museum in 2003. From 2004 to 2005, they served as a Substitute Teacher at Roseville Area Schools, Fridley Public Schools, and Columbia Heights Public Schools. In 2005, they took on the role of a Long Term Substitute Teacher at Roseville Area Schools before joining the Minnesota Historical Society as an Oliver Kelley Farm Historic Site Interpreter. Jennifer later became an Education Outreach Associate, an Education Outreach Specialist, and eventually the Teacher Education & Curriculum Development Program Manager at the Minnesota Historical Society. In 2012, Jennifer joined the Center for Authentic Intellectual Work as a Professional Development Events Coordinator.

Jennifer Cadwell-Vaughan earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History/Education from Southwest Minnesota State University, where they studied from 1993 to 1998. Jennifer later pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in United States History at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, which they completed from 2002 to 2004.
