Kayla Stielow's work experience includes positions at various organizations. Kayla began working at the Minnesota Historical Society in 2017, where they held multiple roles. As the Lindbergh House and Partnership Sites Manager, they oversaw the Charles Lindbergh House and Museum property, programming, and staff. Kayla also worked with five historic sites through community partnerships. Prior to this role, they worked as a Program Associate and Interpreter at the Charles A. Lindbergh House and Museum, where they conducted public programming, gave house tours, facilitated school programs, and acted as a living history interpreter. Kayla also served as a Program Assistant and led the Minnesota Remembers Vietnam Central Minnesota team, organizing and marketing public events.

Kayla Stielow began their education in 2010 at St. Cloud State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies Teacher Education. Kayla completed their undergraduate studies in 2014. Following this, they continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Arts in Public/Applied History. Kayla's graduate studies began in 2016 and concluded in 2022.
