Christopher Smith, BS, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Christopher currently serves as the Director of Cloud Platform Architecture, Tools, and Data Modeling at Securian Financial. Prior to this role, Christopher held significant positions at Optum, where they served as the Sr. Director of Data Governance & Engineering, Innovation Product Director Healthcare Technology, and Director of Program Management. Christopher also worked as a Technical Consultant at Public Consulting Group and as the Director of Infrastructure Services at Carlson Marketing. Christopher began their career as a Software Engineer at Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC. Christopher has demonstrated expertise in driving innovation, managing large-scale projects, implementing agile methodologies, and leveraging emerging technologies to solve business challenges. Christopher holds a Bachelor's degree and an MBA.
