Lance Du Chateau has a diverse work experience in various industries. Lance began their career at Life Fitness as a Consumer Marketing Manager from 1999 to 2001. Lance then worked at Best Buy, where they held multiple roles, including Consumer Marketing Associate, Consumer Marketing Manager for the Affluent Male segment, and Senior Marketing Manager for the loyalty program from 2001 to 2009. After that, they joined Thrivent Financial for Lutherans as an Independent Consultant, working on the development and launch of the Thrivent Choice charitable grant program. In 2010, they joined LoyaltyOne as a Senior Consultant and Associate Director, where they developed customer engagement and loyalty strategies for Fortune 1000 consumer brands. In 2016, Lance joined Fairview Health Services, where they served as the Director of Customer Experience and later as the Director of Marketing, responsible for growing market share and leading a team of direct reports. Currently, they work at Securian Financial as the Customer Experience Strategy Lead.

Lance Du Chateau holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Lance also has an MBA with a focus in Marketing from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management. In 2023, Lance obtained a certification in Forrester Mastering Customer Experience from Forrester.
