Marilyn Peitso, a pediatric hospitalist, is currently serving as the President at CentraCare. Prior to this role, Marilyn was the Past President at Minnesota Medical Association. Marilyn also briefly held the position of President at Minnesota Chapter American Academy of Pediatrics. Marilyn holds a BA in biology from Luther College, completed their residency in pediatrics at the University of Iowa, and earned their MD from the University of Minnesota.

With more than 10,000 members, the MMA is dedicated to being the indispensable and unified voice of physicians for advancing the practice of medicine, the profession and patient health. The MMA offers professional development opportunities for its members through continuing medical education and a physician career center. MMA also offers credentialing as part of a collaborative effort with the Minnesota Council of Health Plans (MCHP) and the Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA).
