Alexis Stangl has extensive experience in the legislative field, currently serving as the Director of Senate Counsel, Research, and Fiscal Analysis for the Minnesota Senate since February 2011. In this role, Alexis oversees a diverse team and provides nonpartisan legal and research services to senators and committees, with expertise in elections, campaign finance, redistricting, and transportation policy. Prior roles include Lead Counsel and Counsel within the same office, as well as positions at the League of Minnesota Cities and the Saint Paul City Attorney's Office. Alexis earned a Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
