Jared Zimmerman is currently a Moot Court participant and a scholar at the Terrence J. Murphy Institute for Catholic Thought, Law and Business at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where a partial-tuition scholarship supports research on Catholic doctrine and public policy. In addition, Jared serves as a Legislative Assistant for the Minnesota Senate, focusing on legislative tracking and communication between government entities. As a Client Advocate for Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, Jared develops outreach strategies for at-risk groups and connects individuals to essential resources. Previous roles include serving as a Police Officer for Lino Lakes Police Department and a Public Safety Officer at Bemidji State University. Jared is pursuing a Master's degree in Catholic Studies and a Doctor of Law degree at the University of St. Thomas, following a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Law Enforcement from Bemidji State University and a Law Enforcement certificate from Alexandria Technical and Community College.
