David Bissonnette is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in the field of nutrition. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Nutrition at Minnesota State University, Mankato since August 2005, David has authored and directed three impactful documentaries addressing critical health issues such as obesity, diabetes, and depression. David's prior role as an Assistant Professor involved research on the effects of antioxidants on muscle biochemical integrity following trauma. In addition to academic contributions, David is the President and CEO of St-Jude Nutrition Medical Communications, established in 2009, which focuses on publishing books, textbooks, and documentaries. David Bissonnette holds a Ph.D. in Nutritional Science with a Minor in Epidemiology from the University of Toronto - University of Trinity College and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Dietetics from McGill University - Macdonald Campus.
