David Clisbee

David Clisbee is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in computer information science and nursing education at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Computer Information Science, David teaches large Information Systems courses while coaching Health Informatics students. Previously, David held roles including Assistant Professor and Simulation Special Projects Manager in the School of Nursing, where successful accreditation planning for the Maverick Family Nursing Simulation Center and the creation of strategic training materials were prominent achievements. With a foundation in media and educational technology, David has mentored students in consulting, digital storytelling, and new media technologies, contributing to enhanced learning outcomes and satisfaction within diverse educational settings. David holds a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Minnesota State University, Mankato, along with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Northwest Missouri State University.
