Kristen Cvancara

Kristen Cvancara is a Professor at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where teaching focuses on relationship development and leadership within the Communication & Media department for both undergraduate and graduate students. In 2018, Kristen served as a Faculty Member for the Semester At Sea program, exploring various countries while facilitating educational experiences. As a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland, Kristen conducted research and taught graduate classes. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota and as a Regional Marketing Manager for the American Lung Association. Kristen holds a Ph.D. in Interpersonal Communication and Social Influence, a Master’s Degree in Communication Theory, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing & Speech Communication from the University of Minnesota and St. Cloud State University, respectively.
