Udhaya Kumar Dayalan

Udhaya Kumar Dayalan, PhD, is an experienced engineering leader currently serving at Trane Technologies since June 2008, with a focus on innovation within digital solutions and connectivity. Responsibilities span the development of engineering products related to Wi-Fi, Zigbee, cellular communication, and sensor technology. Udhaya has held several roles, including Lead Systems Engineer, Architect, and Lead Embedded Software Engineer, contributing to software-hardware integration, cross-product software development, and optimizing embedded systems. In addition to a robust career at Trane, Udhaya is a member of the IEEE Software & Systems Engineering Standards Committee and advises on the Customer Experience Program at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Udhaya holds a PhD in Computer Science & Engineering and a Master’s in Software Engineering from the University of Minnesota, along with a Bachelor's degree from Anna University Chennai.
