Kayla Peterson

Kayla Peterson, M.A., is a seasoned professional in enrollment counseling with extensive experience at Capella University since May 2017, currently serving as Lead Enrollment Counselor. In this role, Kayla coordinates conversations to assess learner needs and navigate them through the nursing enrollment process while overseeing strategic corporate partnerships. Concurrently, Kayla participates as Street Team Captain for the Minnesota Vikings, engaging with the fan base through promotional events and enhancing game day experiences. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Admission Counselor and Transfer Coordinator at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, where Kayla was responsible for recruiting in the Southeast Minnesota area, visiting over 70 high schools annually. Kayla holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and a Master of Arts in Management from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.
