Allison Thompson is a senior graphic designer at the Minnesota Wild. Allison previously worked as a field technician for WEST, Inc., assisting with legal recommendations for wind farms through field surveys and data collection. Allison also documented bird and bat fatalities on existing wind farms and identified bird species through point count surveys on proposed wind farm sites.

Allison has also worked as a biologist aide for the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation. There they operated and transported equipment including boats, boat trailers and pickup trucks. Allison sampled sportfish in reservoirs through electrofishing and netting, measured length and weight of sampled fish and harvested otolith bones, determined fish age through counting growth rings on otolith bones, administered biological control practices through cleaning boats and equipment, and measured water quality parameters including conductivity, turbidity, and dissolved oxygen.

Allison Thompson has a Master's degree in Wetland Ecology from Oklahoma State University, a Bachelor's degree in Ecology of Fisheries and Wildlife from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, and an Associate's degree in Fisheries and Wildlife from Murray State College.
