Minnesota Zoo
Sara C Swenson is a dedicated environmental educator with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sciences, Policy, and Management from the University of Minnesota. Currently serving as an Interpretive Naturalist and Outreach Animal Presenter at the Minnesota Zoo since December 2019, Sara is skilled in developing and implementing diverse educational programs that connect people with wildlife, including handling live ambassador animals. Sara has also worked as an Interpretive Naturalist at the University of Minnesota and has extensive experience in outdoor and nature education across various organizations, including Three Rivers Park District and Dakota County. With a commitment to community engagement and COVID-19 safety practices, Sara has successfully delivered programs for audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
