Kevin Barr

Kevin Barr has an extensive work experience spanning several companies. Kevin began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Robodyne Corporation, where they led a project team in designing and manufacturing automated pick and place tools. Kevin then joined Microvision as a Senior Design Engineer, responsible for the design of inspection tools and managing a development budget. At ESI-MicroVision, they served as a Mechanical Engineering Manager, overseeing a group of engineers and successfully completing complex technical projects. Kevin then joined Guidant Corporation as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they designed and developed Automatic Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators.

Kevin Barr's career progressed further at Onto Innovation, where they held various roles, including Director of Hardware Engineering, Director of Program Management, Sr. Program Manager, Director of Automation and Hardware Engineering, and Senior Manager of the General Engineering Group. In these positions, they managed teams of engineers, provided leadership in planning and development processes, and had budget responsibilities.

Kevin then worked at Tennant Company as the Senior Manager of the Mechanical Engineering Center of Excellence, leading the mechanical engineering team. Currently, Kevin Barr is working at Minnetronix, Inc. as the Mechanical Engineering Manager.

Throughout their career, Kevin Barr has demonstrated expertise in mechanical engineering, program management, project leadership, and team management.

Kevin Barr attended Stony Brook University from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, they participated in a Precision Machine Design Workshop at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completed Engineer to Manager Training at the University of Minnesota.
