Trevor Thiess has a diverse and extensive work experience. Trevor started their career in 2012 as a Research Assistant at Nano Devices Lab, Marquette University, where they developed nanometer-scale memristive devices and designed a lab curriculum shared with Cornell University and American Society of Engineering Education.

In 2012, Trevor also worked as an R&D Co-op at Baxter International Inc., where they performed verification and validation work on the hardware and software of the Vivia Home Hemodialysis Device. Trevor also provided technical support for a summative human factors study.

From 2015 to 2018, Trevor was a Techno Mage at Seiva Technologies LLC, a company they co-founded with four others. Trevor contributed to the development of a wearable biometric device for therapy, training, and research.
