Marco Emanuele has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research. Marco started their career as a Ph.D. student at Università degli studi di Palermo, where they focused on the neural alpha tubulin epigenome dynamic regulation in sea urchin development. Marco then worked as a Post Doc at IIT - Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, studying the pathogenetic mechanisms of familial Parkinson's disease and the effects of extracellular alpha-synuclein on neuronal morphology and connectivity. Marco continued their research as a Post Doc at Inserm, exploring the role of neural stem cells in neurodegenerative diseases. Marco's next position was as a Research Scientist at UCB, where they conducted research on novel therapeutic targets for neurological disorders. Currently, they are working as a Senior Scientist at Minoryx Therapeutics, where they apply their expertise to drug discovery and development for rare genetic diseases.
Marco Emanuele obtained a Laurea in Biologia Cellulare e Molecolare from the Università degli Studi di Palermo, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Marco'sfield of study focused on Cellular and Molecular Biology.
