Justin Ellison

Justin Ellison is currently the Regional Director of Operations at Mint House. Prior to this, they were the Resort Director at The Quin Central Park from December 2019 to November 2020. In this role, Ellison oversaw the entire hotel operation and developed new hotel-wide initiatives and SOPs. Justin also facilitated a full hotel renovation and negotiated collective bargaining agreements with Local 6.

Ellison's previous experience also includes serving as the Assistant General Manager at the Renaissance New York Midtown Hotel from January 2016 to November 2019. In this role, they were responsible for pre-opening planning and setup for the 348 room flagship lifestyle hotel. Additionally, they oversaw departments including Housekeeping, Engineering, Guest Services, & Security. Ellison also served as a liaison between third party F&B operators and the hotel team. Justin conducted and assisted with the development of training programs hotel wide, developed new hotel-wide initiatives and SOPs, and held a bi-monthly financial review and forecast of expenses with department heads line by line when needed. Additionally, they were responsible for reviewing and critiquing end of month P&Ls and developing annual operating and capital budgets. Ellison was successful in exceeding brand benchmark guest services scores by 4.0+ points three years in a row and ensuring a leading STR position to the comp set with over a 100% RevPAR index YOY.

Justin Ellison has a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel/ Resort Management from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
