Ginta Garkāje

Ginta Garkāje has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Ginta is currently working at Mintos as a Senior Product Owner (AML) starting in December 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Emergn as a Project Manager from February 2019 to December 2020, and as a Business Analyst from April 2018 to January 2019.

Before Emergn, Ginta worked at EY, where they held various positions including Assistant Manager from October 2017 to March 2018, Senior Consultant in IT Advisory from October 2015 to September 2017, and Consultant in IT Risk and Assurance from January 2015 to October 2015.

In addition to their corporate experience, Ginta served as a Member of the Board at ISACA Latvia chapter from April 2016 to March 2018. Ginta also worked at DPA as a Consultant in IT Infrastructure Solutions from September 2011 to January 2015, and as a Software Programming Engineer at the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science from April 2011 to January 2015.

Ginta Garkāje completed their education in a chronological manner. They started their education at Riga State Gymnasium No.1 from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate Diploma and a Latvian National Diploma. Following this, from 2010 to 2014, Ginta pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Latvia. They then continued their education at the same university, from 2014 to 2016, and obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Ginta has also obtained several certifications. In September 2012, they obtained the MCTS certification in Designing, Assessing, and Optimizing Software Asset Management (SAM) from Microsoft. In September 2014, they obtained the MTA certification in Windows Server Administration Fundamentals, also from Microsoft. In November 2016, Ginta obtained the Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA. Lastly, in April 2019, they obtained the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Their most recent certification is the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification, which they obtained from ACAMS in November 2022.
