In law school, Aaron served as executive editor of the Connecticut Law Review and executive director of the Connecticut Moot Court Board.

Before law school, Aaron worked in the administration of former Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy as a senior associate in policy and government affairs. During his tenure, he developed policy on a wide range of issues, including economic development, criminal justice, higher education, workforce development, and transit improvements.
