Dallas represents public and private companies, acquirers of distressed assets, lenders, equity holders, and other stakeholders in all aspects of bankruptcy proceedings, corporate restructurings, and insolvencies. His clientele includes those in the financial services, health care, retail, and real estate industries.

Dallas focuses his practice on all aspects of bankruptcy and restructuring transactions, including section 363 asset sales, DIP financings, plans of reorganization, and bankruptcy litigation. He also advises reorganizing debtors and liquidating trusts in connection with plan administration, including claims negotiations and objections. In addition, he counsels clients in distressed situations, including mass tort cases, commercial disputes, and out-of-court corporate restructurings.

Dallas began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Mary F. Walrath of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. He then worked as a restructuring associate at two international law firms prior to joining Mintz.

During law school, Dallas was a judicial intern for the Honorable Kimberly S. Budd, the current Chief Justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. In addition, he was a staff writer on the Uniform Commercial Code Reporter-Digest and a teaching assistant for BC Law’s negotiations course.
