Evelyn Limon

Associate at Mintz

Evelyn’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including business disputes, financial and contract disputes, and white collar defense in all stages of litigation, from pre-litigation counseling and investigation through discovery and trial, as well as the appeals process. She regularly guides individual and corporate clients through federal government investigations and enforcement proceedings, as well as counseling prominent professional sports executives and athletes with regard to league and internal investigations. Evelyn represents clients across a wide range of industries, including financial services, biotech, and sports & entertainment. In addition, she is experienced in managing the electronic discovery process, and frequently handles large data matters involving litigation, internal investigations, and governmental inquiries.

In addition to her complex commercial litigation work, Evelyn maintains an active pro bono practice, specifically focusing on counseling and representing clients in matters related to their immigration status.

Evelyn currently serves as Deputy Regional President of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) for the New England region (Region I). She is an active member of the BU Law Alumni community.

Prior to joining Mintz, Evelyn was an associate in the Boston office of a large, international law firm, where she represented investors in complex affordable housing development acquisitions and transactions.

While attending law school at Boston University School of Law, she worked as a student prosecutor with the school’s criminal clinic where she represented the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in prosecuting “operating under the influence”, larceny, and drug possession offenses. She also served as Co-President of BU Law’s Latin American Law Student Association (LALSA) chapter, and was a note editor for the Public Interest Law Journal.
