Joshua N. Rudin

Josh focuses his practice on transactions involving all aspects of commercial real estate. He has experience negotiating and structuring real estate acquisitions & dispositions, financings, joint ventures, and real estate development transactions. His clients include private equity firms, insurance companies, alternative lenders, financial institutions, corporations, and distressed companies. Josh also routinely assists with the real estate components of a wide variety of private equity and M&A transactions.

Prior to joining Mintz, Josh was an associate in the real estate practices of several international law firms, where he represented clients in a broad spectrum of debt and equity investments in commercial real estate. Josh also completed an eight-month secondment to an alternative asset management company as a member of the real estate investments legal team.

While attending law school, Josh served as the notes and comments editor of the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial & Commercial Law and authored a note for the publication titled, “Basel III: The Banking Band-Aid?”

In addition to his practice, Josh serves the Brooklyn Law School Alumni Association, including as a mentor to students and assisting with mock interviews for students.
