Karyn is an attorney in the Mintz Litigation Practice who advises clients across a variety of industries in complex commercial and securities matters. She also maintains an active pro bono practice.
Prior to joining Mintz, Karyn served as a law clerk to the late Honorable Chief Justice Gants and the Honorable Justice Georges of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. In that capacity, she participated in all aspects of appellate practice, including conducting legal research and drafting judicial opinions. In addition, Karyn supported the Massachusetts Access to Justice Commission, an organization dedicated to ensuring equal justice for all persons in the Commonwealth.
Earlier Karyn worked as a legal intern. In 2019, she held an internship at Mintz. Assisting the firm’s Pro Bono Committee and the Access to Justice Commission, Karyn conducted research and wrote memoranda on pro bono matters such as asylum, guardianship, and consumer protection, and drafted and edited a litigation brief concerning a civil class action complaint.
While earning her JD at Northeastern University, Karyn worked at the law school’s Poverty Law and Practice Clinic and served as an associate editor of the Northeastern University Law Review.
