Anna Sarneso is the current Director at Minuteman Library Network. Anna has previously worked as an Evening Librarian at Roxbury Community College, a Part-time Professional Librarian at Newbury College, and a Library Director at Mount Ida College. Additionally, they have experience as a Writing Center Tutor and Wadsworth Library Instruction and Reference Intern.
Anna has always been passionate about libraries and education. Anna first pursued this interest by earning their undergraduate degree in English from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Anna then went on to earn their Master of Library Science degree from Simmons College.
Throughout their career, Anna has been dedicated to providing excellent customer service, fostering a sense of community, and overseeing collection development. Anna has also been instrumental in developing programming and displays to promote the use of the library. In their current role as Director at Minuteman Library Network, they are responsible for the overall operation of the library system, which includes 17 member libraries. Under their leadership, the Minuteman Library Network has seen increased usage and satisfaction among its patrons.
Anna Sarneso is a Doctor of Philosophy who specializes in Library and Information Science. Anna attended Simmons University for their undergraduate and graduate studies. Prior to their current field, they studied English Literature at The University of British Columbia and Elizabethtown College.
