Tara Lovanio (Arnold)

Tara (Arnold) Lovanio has a diverse and extensive work experience. Tara is currently working as the Chief Human Resources Officer at MIO Partners, Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at Bridgewater Associates for a significant amount of time, where they held various positions. From November 2013 to February 2023, they served as the Head of Community Relations, responsible for enhancing employee experience, inclusion, and engagement. Tara also managed the external community relations and oversaw a team of 6-8 individuals. From August 2009 to November 2013, Tara served as the Head of Employee Relations. In this role, they developed an employee relations/business partner model, built comprehensive employee relations capabilities, and worked on difficult and sensitive employee cases alongside senior executives. From August 2004 to August 2009, they held the position of Head of Human Resources, where they crafted and implemented HR processes, systems, and programs and spearheaded recruiting and onboarding efforts. Tara also led the successful transition of benefits plan resulting in significant cost savings and improved benefits for employees.

Before joining Bridgewater, Tara worked at Hyperion Solutions as a Human Resources Generalist from March 2001 to August 2004. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Recruiter and College Recruiter from February 1998 to March 2001. Tara started their career at Nine West Group as a Benefits Administrator from February 1997 to February 1998.

Tara (Arnold) Lovanio has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications in Talent Management from LinkedIn in May 2023 and is also certified in College Relations & Recruiting from NACE.
