Yifan Qian

Yifan Qian began their work experience in 2020 as an Actuarial Intern at Soochow Securities Co., Ltd., a role they held until August of the same year. In 2021, they joined Tencent as a Data Analyst Intern, where they were responsible for scraping information from Zhihu platform using Python BeautifulSoup library, performing cluster analysis for Tencent game characters, and implementing a sign-in feature to increase user engagement. In 2022, Yifan worked as an Integration Engineer Intern at Ericsson for three months. Currently, they hold the position of Data Analyst at MioTech, starting in February 2023.

Yifan Qian pursued a Master of Professional Studies degree in Data Science at Cornell University from 2021 to 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science from UC Santa Barbara, where they studied from 2017 to 2021. Additionally, Yifan Qian has acquired certifications in the field of actuarial science. They became a SAS Certified Specialist in Base Programming from Software 赛仕软件 in November 2021. Furthermore, Yifan Qian obtained the Exam P certification from the Society of Actuaries in July 2019.
