Yifei Zhang

Yifei Zhang has a diverse work experience, beginning with an internship at Jiangsu Academy of Environmental Industry and Technology Corp. in 2017. In this role, they reviewed literature, conducted field investigations, and designed surveys on the government's management effectiveness changes after the implementation of emission permits system in China. In 2019, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Duke University, a Summer Intern at AECOM, and a Volunteer at GRID Alternatives. At AECOM, they managed the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policy database, updated newly-released national and local EHS-related laws and regulations in China, and developed a series of macros in Excel using VBA. At GRID Alternatives, they gained hands-on experience on solar design. In 2020, Yifei Zhang began working at TsIntergy Technology as a Product Engineer, where they prepared power market participants for the transition towards a mature power market in China by providing SaaS services such as Power Spot Market Simulation System, Decision Support System, Marketing Management System, etc. Currently, Yifei Zhang is a Product Manager at MioTech.

Yifei Zhang obtained a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Nanjing University between 2014 and 2018. In 2016 and 2017, they attended Utrecht University as an exchange student studying Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences. In 2015, they participated in a summer programme at the University of Oxford, studying Economics. In 2018, Yifei graduated from Duke University with a Master's degree in Business and Environment. Yifei has also obtained certifications from Udemy, Coursera, and other institutions, including The Complete SQL Bootcamp 2020: Go from Zero to Hero, Applied Plotting, Charting & Data Representation in Python, Introduction to Data Science in Python, Project Management: The Basics for Success, and Finance for Non-Financial Professionals.
