Antonio Guerreiro

Antonio Guerreiro is an experienced professional in the field of polymer science and chemical engineering, currently serving as Director Of Technology at MIP Discovery since May 2017. Prior to this role, Antonio held positions as a Research Fellow at the University of Leicester, focusing on chemical engineering from September 2013 to April 2017, and as a Senior Research Fellow at Cranfield University from July 2006 to September 2013. At Cranfield University, responsibilities included the design of automated reactors for the production of plastic antibodies and the development of smart polymeric materials. Antonio's early career included various research roles at Cranfield University, specializing in adsorbent resins, polymeric nanostructures, and reactive polymer coatings for biosensor fabrication, as well as completing an MSc project on bioremediation at Lund University in 2001. Antonio earned a PhD in Polymer Science and Supramolecular Chemistry from Cranfield University and a Master of Engineering in Biotechnology from Universidade do Algarve.
